Muscular Dystrophy (MD) is a muscle wasting condition caused by genetic fault that deteriorates the protein cells in muscle tissue, causing extreme pain and results in diminished, if not complete inhibition, of physical mobility.
Brynn was diagnosed with MD at the age of 12 and was told she’d be limited to a wheelchair by the time she was 16 years old. With the love and support of her family, Brynn has persevered through the challenges brought on by the disease and can still walk - although not without discomfort and exceptional amounts of energy. Her family has been a great support, which has helped slow down the progression of the disease a great deal.
Research has shown that stem cell therapy helps to rebuild and strengthen muscle tissue. It has proven to significantly diminish the speed the disease travels throughout the body and helps restore function in skeletal muscles. Stem Cell Therapy is a safe and painless procedure and many patients feel the benefits instantaneously after the stem cells have been administered.
Brynn’s brother Ryan - previous member of Clothes Make The Man - wanted to help his sister build awareness surrounding MD and Stem Cell Therapy foundation she began. And through the creativity of music, Ryan and fellow artist Carleigh Aikins have composed a song with an accompanying video dedicated to Brynn to raising funds for her foundation.
